We have received 743 works from 50 countries in the world this year. And after strict judging, we have selected 8 awarded works and 63 winning works as below.

<General Comment>

Unfortunately, there was no entry to win the Grand Prize this year.Design competitions become a success when revelational ideas sparkle amongst the entries.In the past years of the competition, there were encounters, to some extent, ideas that have never been explored before.In that sense, it was regretful that this year’s result fell short of the judges’ expectations.Nevertheless, a certain trend was detectable in general.Quite a number of the entries seemed to have developed in deviating from conventional form of eyewear and sought delicate and fragile images. The designs that received higher scores from the judges were mostly in that direction as many of the entries were.
