I am from Bucharest, Romania
I just graduated in product design and I am currently working on freelance
projects. |

The idea in the proposal was to make a more connected visual link
between the lens and the arms of the sunglasses, almost like the lens
would flow and become the arm. This way we would get not only a more
fluid and unified shape but also the detail of the hinge would create
an original overall design.
The target market would be a feminine audience with an interest in
design and fashion, so I also tried to look for inspiration in some
of the latest artistic or design trends, like the sculptures of Anish
Kapur. |

Lens: to be able to achieve the 3d geometry of the lens in one piece,
plastic has to be used but with the recent breakthroughs in glass
molding maybe that could be a higher end version to consider.
Arms: titanium was my first choice because of its strength and elasticity
but other metals could be used too. |
