concept

“Palladium Sport” is designed for an athlete's use during periods of extreme exertion, such as are experienced while rowing. The intensity and strain of the sport causes the athlete to perspire profusely, and this can often be a problem if there is nothing to protect the eyes from sweat. To avoid irritation from the the sting and dampness of excessive perspiration, Palladium comes equipped with a moisture-wicking fabric guard that forms to the contours of the athlete's forehead via a biult-in flexible plastic band.

materials

Coolmax® fabric, used here as a sweat guard, was developed to maximize the effects of evaporative cooling in which water leaves the body as a vapor, cooling the skin in the process. Instead of allowing sweat to drip into the athlete's eyes or collect on the skin, the fabric wicks moisture away from the surface where it would only serve to raise the body temperature and produce more heat.
